The Williamsfield Railway Station was constructed around 1891 and was the halfway point between Kingston and Montego Bay stations. It was part of the first railway network constructed outside of Europe and North America. The railway station has elements of the Jamaica/Georgian architectural style and was used for both commercial and public passenger services.
