We are delighted to be hosting a major exhibition of work by renowned Jamaican artist, Cecil Cooper.
It opens on June 17, 2022. An important date that marks the anniversary of Cecil’s last exhibition, Milestone, which was held in 2016.
This exhibition will launch the Cecil Cooper Foundation and will be a two-fold event to announce the annual scholarship to a final year student at the Edna Manley College, as well as bursaries to four high school students enrolling in the College.
The main Gallery will exhibit paintings by Cecil, with select works for sale. It will also showcase work by the student awardees.
The Exhibition will run until July 16, and will include various activities including dance and musical performances, as well as a series of art talks.
