At 6:00 pm this evening, Keisha Patterson and Seretse Small will be performing at 4 Washington Drive off Annette Crescent in aid of Avant Academy of Music.
The night is billed as “Keisha & Seretse” was originally billed "Della & Seretse” as it was originally to feature Della Manley as the main performer along with Seretse Small.
However, two days prior to the event, Della became ill and had to cancel her participation.
Keisha Patterson was contacted at once to fill in for Della. She confirmed that she was available and arrangements were made to change the program.
Keisha is no stranger to Avant Academy of Music and Seretse Small. She has many years of experience performing in Musical Theatre and the professional music scene in Jamaica. She has performed with Sinead O’Connor, Sly & Robbie, and Freddie McGregor. Locally she has been active as an actor and Jazz singer. Like many performers, COVID greatly reduced her performances but even during the pandemic she had a feature slot on the virtual concert, “Jazz on the Duke” and most recently “Kingston Jazz’ at 22 Jerk.
The evening promises to be full of great music as Keisha and Seretse will be accompanied by some of Jamaica’s finest musicians. Desi Jones on drums, Carlton Jarret on Bass guitar and Audale Martin on Keyboards.
