CAPRI to Launch study on Growthless Jobs

Why has recent employment growth not resulted in commensurate increases in Gross Domestic Product? The Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CAPRI) sought to explore possible explanation for this in its latest study titled “Growthless Jobs: The Paradox of Rising Employment and Stagnant Output.” Join us for the online report launch and panel discussion on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 8pm to 9pm GMT-5.

Lead Researcher, Mr. Ronaldo Blake, will deliver a presentation that investigates the nature of the jobs created, and explore possible explanations for the unrealized economic growth and falling productivity. Following the presentation, Dr. Damien King, Executive Director of CAPRI, will moderate a panel discussion where he will be joined by the lead researcher and Ms. Diane Edwards, Director of MSBM Consulting.
