Etienne Charles, critically acclaimed Trinidadian jazz trumpeter, and Barbadian bassist, Nicholas Brancker, will join band leaders Peter Ashbourne and Omar Francis for a comprehensive discussion about the state of band performance and education in Jamaica, across the Caribbean region, and the world.

present Africa Day 2023. For this staging, we invite you to examine your rationale for commemorating Africa Day and to participate in an engaging discussion about its continued relevance to Jamaicans.
Our guest presenter this year will be Dr. Amina Blackwood - Meeks. The venue will be the Garvey Great Hall, at 76 (upper) King Street, Kingston.
