UNESCO, The PJ Patterson Institute for Africa- Caribbean Advocacy, the Ruth J. Simmons Center, Brown University, and Liberty Hall: The Legacy of Marcus Garvey are joining forces to tackle the issue of anti-Black racism. Together we will host a four-day workshop from Tuesday, October 17, 2023, to Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Garvey Great Hall, Liberty Hall at 76 King Street, Kingston.
The workshop, held under the theme “Mapping the Cost of Global Anti-Black Racism”, will explore specific aspects of the ways in which anti-Black racism continues to be a structural feature of many societies in the world today.
