Choose Life International (CLI) is having their 17th Annual World Suicide Prevention Day Seminar (WSPD).

At the 2024 WSPD Seminar, they hosted an in-person audience of 150 people, while serving
almost 1000 online participants from 22 nations. This year, their goal is to exceed this number, while boosting participation of
at least 30 countries.

The theme for the 2025 World Suicide Prevention Day Seminar is ‘Change the Narrative on
Suicide: Let’s Continue the Conversation - Nation Building Strategies for Suicide

Prevention – Macro, Misso.

This theme represents a continued call to action for all stakeholders to get involved as suicide remains a critical issue that affects individuals, families and communities worldwide.

CLI has hosted this training seminar on or around World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) annually, since its inception in 2008.

Participation has increased steadily and attendees have included educators, psychologists, student leaders, parents, community leaders, guidance counsellors, medical practitioners, police officers, pastors and many other caregivers, who continue to be empowered to better cope with the challenge of suicide prevention, through these seminars.
