The National Gallery of Jamaica invites you to the Green X Gold Symposium: Dialogues on Paradise, a one-day event on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM. This thought-provoking symposium is part of the Kingston Biennial 2024: Green X Gold and will explore themes of art, ecology, and national identity.
The event features a keynote presentation by Professor Krista Thompson, author of An Eye for the Tropics, followed by a conversation with NGJ Chief Curator O’Neil Lawrence. Attendees will also hear from exhibiting artists Deborah Anzinger, Oneika Russell, and Robin Farquharson in a panel moderated by NGJ Senior Curator Monique Barnett-Davidson.
