The National Museum Jamaica presents its annual Heritage Debate, inviting the public to engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the motion:
“Should Jamaican Patois be considered an official language?”

This year’s debate will bring together bright student debaters from The Holy Trinity High School and The Pembroke Hall High School, who will present spirited arguments on both sides of this timely and culturally significant issue.
