Hibiscus Elatus is the indigenous, national tree of Jamaica. It has a straight trunk with blue-green streaks and hibiscus-like flowers that are highly valued. The trunk is durable and decorative, ideal for cabinet making. The mahoe grows quickly, often gaining a height of 66 ft.
