‘From Adirè to Jadirè – A Transition of Textile Culture from Southwest Nigeria to Jamaica’ will unfold at The University of the West Indies Regional Headquarters as a variety of Jadire (batik fabrics). 

From Wednesday, November 17 to Saturday, December 2, four Jadirè fabric graduates (Jacquline Mason Reid, Nella Stewart, Simone Gordon and Charmaine Brown), who have developed a Jadire-production business from their training are hosting an expose of batik fabrics and many items made from such.

Eat Jamaican Day will be observed on Friday, November 24, at the College of Agriculture, Science, and Education (CASE). It will feature an expo of Jamaican delicacies.

The Things Jamaican brand takes the spotlight on the new date Friday, November 24 with a grand 60th Anniversary Celebration & Early Christmas Trade Show.

Over sixty producers and sellers of authentic Jamaican products will gather at the JBDC Corporate office to mount a display of products in the following categories: Food, Fashion, Fashion Accessories, Aromatherapy, Home & Home Accents and Souvenirs. The event will also feature product samples, discounts, and giveaways.

Interested buyers are invited to come out and buy and gift Jamaican products for Christmas 2023.
