The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, in collaboration with the Manchester Municipal Corporation, will host the 68th Anniversary Commemoration and Monument Unveiling for the Kendal Train Crash of 1957.
The event will high light and honour the memory of those who lost their lives in one of Jamaica’s most tragic railway disasters and marks the unveiling of a permanent monument at Kendal Memorial Park.
Members of the public are invited to attend in person or watch live by scanning the QR code on the official event flyer to access the YouTube stream.
This commemoration is part of Jamaica’s ongoing effort to preserve and honour its rich history.
