The Backhand Factory will host the Open Junior Tennis Championship 2025 from September 19 to 21 at the Eric Bell Tennis Centre, located at 2A Piccadilly Road, Kingston. This all-white tennis event begins at 9 a.m. each day and welcomes boys and girls competing in the U12, U14, and U16 categories, divided into Groups A and B.
Young athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their passion for the sport, sharpen their skills, and connect with fellow players in a competitive yet supportive environment. As a UTR verified event, participants will gain valuable experience and ranking recognition.
The registration fee is $2,500 per event, with the entry deadline set for September 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
Tennis enthusiasts are encouraged to register early and be part of this exciting championship.
Running Events Jamaica is pleased to announce the third staging of the Blue Run 5K,.
Powered by Guardian Life Limited, the Blue Run 5K seeks to raise public awareness of the high incidence of prostate cancer in Jamaica and to highlight the importance of prevention, education, and open dialogue within families and communities. Proceeds from the event will support the Urology Department at the University of the West Indies.

Registration is open to individuals and teams (corporate, clubs, church groups, and family teams).
Deadline: Tuesday, September 16, 2025, or earlier if the event limit is reached.
Contribution: JMD $3,000 per person (includes premium race shirt and finisher medal). Teams with 60 or more persons pay JMD $2,500 per person.
No race day registration. Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and name changes are not allowed.
