Trekkers Adventures Jamaica Ltd announces Pink Trek 2025 – The Fusion, a multi-discipline trek, run and cycle event to be held on Saturday, 4 October 2025, beginning at 6:30 a.m. (registration and check-in from 6:00 a.m.)

Pink Trek 2025 is designed for both individuals and teams seeking to challenge themselves while supporting a vital cause: all proceeds will fund breast cancer screening and support for survivors. 

Participants may choose their mode of participation (trek/walk, run, or cycle) and select from four distance levels:
Level 1 (5 miles) – ideal for first-timers or moderate challengers 
Level 2 (8 miles) – for more active walkers, runners, or cyclists
Level 3 (10 miles) – for intermediate participants 
Level 4 (13 miles, half-marathon equivalent) – the ultimate challenge 

The event route begins at the University of Technology (UTech), Papine Campus, and proceeds through Papine Square, Cooperage, Newcastle Road, Maryland, Woodford, up through Free Town Road and trail into Holywell Recreational Park, before finishing at the Newcastle Parade Ground. 

Included with registration (JMD 8,000 per person) are transportation to and from starting points (except for Level 4), event band, hydration stations, first aid support, photos, commemorative medal, and secure parking. 

Registration closes Wednesday, 1 October 2025. 

All interested persons and teams are invited to take part in this event of fitness, solidarity and purpose—every step, stride or pedal counts toward a healthier future.

The Sterling Gospel Music Awards (SGMA) will hold its ninth annual ceremony, known as the Caribbean’s premier gospel music awards show, SGMA continues its mission to honour outstanding artistry, integrity, and impact within gospel music, both locally and internationally.

This year’s theme is “African Elegance”, signalling an evening of dignified style, cultural richness, and spiritual celebration.

KFC Jamaica returns as lead sponsor, supporting the event both financially and through the Big Deal Awards programme. Organizer and Director, Basillia Barnaby-Cuff, emphasizes that SGMA is founded to uplift gospel artists, celebrate heritage, and build legacy.
