Description:
THE UCAP’S SUMMER CREATIVE INTENSIVE (SCI) is a week-long programme designed to provide students, across Jamaica, who have a passion for the creative arts with an opportunity to gain insights into developing sustainable careers in the arts.
The SCI aims to allow these students to not only strengthen their craft but to also gain knowledge on how to turn their passions into a fulfilling profession.
During the programme, students will gain insights from creative industry professionals who have experience working in The Caribbean and internationally.
At the end of the programme, students will walk away with:
A creative portfolio
A personal branding tool-kit
A professional package (headshots & bios)
Resources for funding
The programme is currently free of cost and will take place at the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC)'s Incubation Resource Centre. Breakfast & lunches will be included.
