ALICIA TAYLOR - JOURNEY OF SOUND AND SOUL
Very soon after meeting Alicia Taylor, I fell in love with her. My personal and musical encounter with her inspired the concept of an album. This concept became the driving force behind the event series, "Wine and Soul".
This is why I am so pleased that she is able to be a part of the experience in "Journeys of Sound and Soul."
In the set, we will explore her voice and soul with Jazz selections, selections from her own songwriting, and selections from her childhood. We will also explore the energy of the blend of Jamaican music, spirituality, and trance that inspired my current love for her and the album concept.
If you have not met Alicia, I really want you to meet her. She is a wonderful woman, mother, wife, mentor and leader.
