The area where The Firefly Estate now stands was once called the "Look Out" by the infamous pirate and one time governor  Henry Morgan for its advantegous location to the ports. He was buried on his favourite spot and a monument erected. It is now a well known tourist destination.Designated National Heritage Foundation Site
